Using black yarn, thread a tapestry needle and enter from the side of the face. Exit 1 row below the eyes and in the second stitch to the right from the left eye.
For step 2, enter in the second stitch holes to the right and exit in the row below, in the middle stitch hole between the 2 ends of the mouth. Keep the black yarn below the needle where it exits in step 2. This brings the black yarn above the middle of the line and creates the rounded mouth shape.
As a last step, go straight down one row and exit in the same hole where you entered initially.
Tie the 2 black yarn ends into a double knot. Put both yarn ends through a tapestry needle, enter in the same hole, and exit somewhere on the opposite side of the body. Cut the yarn close to the body.
Ears
Make 2 ears using the light beige yarn.
Row 1. 6 sc in a magic ring - 6
Row 2. 6 inc - 12 sc
Row 3. 5 sc, 2 inc, 5 sc - 14 sc
Fasten off the ears and attach them to the body.
